We’re based in St. Petersburg, Florida, however, since our practice is fully virtual, we can see patients anywhere in the state. From Pensacola to Key West (and everywhere in between), we serve clients across all of Florida.
-
Yes — our practice focuses on the evaluation, diagnosis, and management of mental health conditions through psychotropic medication management. If weight loss is desired, medication can be prescribed for this as well if appropriate.
-
While we incorporate brief psychotherapy into our visits, many of our patients also work with a therapist for more in-depth or specialized therapy. We collaborate closely with a trusted network of therapists and are happy to provide recommendations. If you prefer, we can also help you find other options to connect with a therapist who fits your needs anywhere in Florida.
-
Tele-medicine allows you to meet with us through a safe, secure, HIPAA-compliant video system—so you can receive care from the comfort of your own space, wherever you are in Florida.

At Mind Body Collective, our priority is providing thoughtful, individualized, and truly comprehensive care. In order to do that, we have chosen to operate as a self-pay (out-of-network) practice.
While insurance can be helpful in many settings, it often places limitations on the way care is delivered. These restrictions can include shorter appointment times, limited treatment options, required diagnoses, and less flexibility in how we approach your care.
By not working directly with insurance companies, we are able to:
Spend more time with you — appointments are never rushed, allowing us to fully understand your concerns and goals
Focus on root causes, not just symptoms — including lifestyle, nutrition, sleep, stress, and hormonal health
Create personalized treatment plans — without restrictions on what is or isn’t “covered”
Maintain your privacy — your information is not shared with insurance companies or third-party payers
Offer a more collaborative, patient-centered experience — where your care is guided by what’s best for you, not dictated by insurance requirements
This model allows for a level of care that is often difficult to achieve within traditional insurance-based systems.
For patients who wish to use their out-of-network benefits, we can provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement, depending on your plan.
*of note, if you do have health insurance, any medications or lab work ordered are sent through your insurance plan.

Self-Pay Rates
Initial Assessment & Consultation (60 minutes) – $175
Extended Follow-Up Visit (45 minutes) – $150
Standard Follow-Up Visit (30 minutes) – $100
More details about each visit type are outlined below.
Initial Assessment & Consultation (60 minutes – $175)
During this first visit, we’ll explore your current concerns, review your medical and psychiatric history, and clarify your goals for treatment. Together, we’ll discuss treatment options that may include medication, labs, counseling, and lifestyle modifications. From there, we’ll create a personalized treatment plan that feels right for you.
Extended Follow-Up Visits (45 minutes – $150)
These sessions allow additional time for patients who are early in treatment or navigating significant stress, more complex symptoms, or medication side effects. They’re also well-suited for individuals actively engaged in psychotherapy or lifestyle changes to support their mental health and physical health.
Standard Follow-Up Visits (30 minutes – $100)
In these visits, we’ll review updates in your symptoms, medications, and overall well-being, then adjust your plan as needed. We feel a minimum of 30 minutes is essential to provide thoughtful, comprehensive, and personalized care.

Cancellation Policy
We understand that unexpected situations arise. However, because appointment times are reserved specifically for you, cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, as well as missed appointments, may be charged the full visit fee. Patients who have three or more late cancellations or missed appointments may be discharged from the practice. -
Frequency of Visits
The frequency of visits varies from person to person, depending on factors such as how you’re feeling, your diagnosis, and the medications you’re taking. Some patients who are experiencing significant symptoms may meet every few days or weeks, while those who are stable may only need follow-up appointments every few months.
Ongoing care and communication are essential to effective treatment, so all patients are required to be seen at least once every 3 months for follow-up. We’ll discuss and decide on the timing of your next visit together at the end of each appointment.

How Long Will I Need to Take Medication?
It really depends! For some patients, medication is a short-term tool to help manage specific circumstances. For others, it becomes an important part of ongoing care.
Current guidelines recommend considering several factors—such as your diagnosis, stressors, illness severity, and treatment response—when deciding how long to continue medication.
We discuss these factors at every appointment and together we create a personalized plan that feels right and sustainable for you.
